Sumrall sweeps Pontotoc 6-5 (Game 1) and 11-4 (Game 2) in the MHSAA 4A State Championship behind the arm of Andrew Kight, who struck out 7 Thursday afternoon at Trustmark Park.

Sumrall finished the season 33-1, their only loss coming to Green County in the playoffs, ranking #2 in the nation according to Baseball America rankings.
